We are approaching a critical moment for UBIE’s future. Our online General Assembly 2025 on Friday, 13 December, 14:00 to 17:00 CET will make decisions about organisational reform that will shape how UBIE operates for years to come.

Following the May 2025 Extraordinary General Assembly mandate, a working group prepared a comprehensive strategy paper analysing UBIE’s situation and presenting multiple pathways forward. The November Agora discussed these options with interested members and reached consensus on a preferred direction.

 The document UBIE Reform 2025 – Agora Recommendations presents the detailed recommendations for General Assembly decisions emerging from the November Agora consensus. The proposed „network transformation“ addresses the reality that UBIE’s current structure requires more volunteer capacity than is available. The recommendations propose restructuring UBIE into a lightweight European UBI network hub.

 At the General Assembly, we will review these proposals and vote on the recommended measures. Please read the document in advance and share your feedback – even if you are not able to attend the GA – with us (contact@ubie.org) by 7 December.
